Description

  • Develop expertise in live-events supply dynamics and marketplace health.
  • Partner with Supply, Product, and Engineering stakeholders to define analytics roadmaps.
  • Analyze seller policies, including fees, fulfillment standards, and performance requirements, and measure their impact.
  • Identify opportunities to increase the value of SeatGeek’s partnerships with sports teams and venues.
  • Provide account managers with insights to strengthen seller relationships and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Build measurement frameworks and reporting, and collaborate with engineers to accelerate feature iteration.
  • Conduct exploratory and root-cause analyses to explain performance changes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for internal leaders.
  • Create and improve datasets and contribute to analytical tools such as dbt and Hex.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related field, preferably in technology, ecommerce marketplaces, or consumer products.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Ability to own ambiguous problems from question framing through recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to simplify analysis and explain methodology.
  • Demonstrated success influencing business strategy with data.
  • Interest in contributing to a culture of curiosity, humility, and impact.
  • Two-sided marketplace experience or domain expertise preferred.
  • Python experience preferred; familiarity with tools such as Redshift, Looker, Hex, GitLab, Airflow, Fivetran, dbt, mParticle, Eppo, or Mixpanel is beneficial.

  • Salary range of $108,000–$157,000 USD, plus equity eligibility and a discretionary annual bonus.
