Description

  • Design and implement computer vision and 3D reconstruction algorithms for reality-capture and modeling systems.
  • Train, validate, and iterate on AI models using custom datasets for tasks such as object detection, semantic/instance segmentation, and splats.
  • Develop and maintain photogrammetry and Structure-from-Motion pipelines to produce accurate 3D models.
  • Process, optimize, and analyze point clouds and mesh data for downstream engineering workflows.
  • Integrate geospatial data and visual-inertial SLAM into perception and mapping pipelines.
  • Build, deploy, and operate cloud-native microservices and APIs to serve vision models in production.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and field teams to deliver production-ready features.
  • Communicate progress proactively, participate in code reviews, and contribute to a remote-first, team-oriented engineering culture.

Requirements

  • Professional experience developing computer vision solutions for real-world applications.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ and experience with OpenCV and PyTorch.
  • Strong familiarity with foundational computer vision models, especially object detection, semantic/instance segmentation, and splats.
  • Hands-on experience training AI models with custom datasets, including dataset preparation and model validation.
  • Experience with Structure-from-Motion (SfM), 3D reconstruction, and photogrammetry.
  • Experience in pointcloud and mesh processing and optimization.
  • Familiarity with geospatial data formats and visual-inertial SLAM.
  • Functional knowledge of microservice architecture, building APIs, NoSQL databases, and deploying applications on cloud platforms.
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related technical field preferred; proactive communicator and self-starter with resilience, accountability, and a collaborative mindset.
