Description

  • Design and build autonomous AI agents for infrastructure troubleshooting, optimization, FinOps, and how-to workflows.
  • Develop MCPs and integrations with infrastructure data, Slack, Jira, Cursor, Windsurf, and other tools.
  • Build, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve machine learning models for resource policies, scaling triggers, and GPU configuration recommendations.
  • Develop internal AI tools that accelerate engineering, research, development, and support.
  • Create AI-powered tools for Sales and Support, including infrastructure analysis and automated cost optimization reports.
  • Own AI systems from concept through production, including performance, reliability, safety, cost, security, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Define AI architecture, engineering best practices, data governance, and multi-agent system standards as a founding AI team member.

Requirements

  • Typically 4+ years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills and backend engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience building and operating production systems in cloud environments.
  • Practical experience deploying LLM-based systems to production, including managing latency, cost, and failure modes.
  • Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph or PydanticAI; familiarity with LangChain or MetaGPT is beneficial.
  • Experience with LLM evaluation frameworks is preferred.
  • Ability to work with structured or operational data such as configurations, logs, and metrics.
  • Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or vector databases is preferred.
  • Strong ownership, independence, cross-functional collaboration, and interest in growing into technical leadership.
