Description

  • Qualify sales opportunities from a technical perspective and advance the sales cycle.
  • Communicate and demonstrate Sapio’s technical value proposition to customers and prospects.
  • Partner with account executives to win life sciences customer accounts.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Sapio’s product portfolio and roadmap.
  • Create and maintain tailored product demos and scripts for life sciences market segments.
  • Assess prospect goals and challenges and communicate requirements internally.
  • Develop technical proposals, RFP responses, and sales documentation.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to hand off customer technical requirements for deployment.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or physics.
  • Experience selling or implementing scientific IT solutions.
  • Experience as a SaaS Solution Consultant or in an equivalent technical sales role.
  • Previous experience with LIMS or ELN software.
  • Ability to present effectively to scientific and IT audiences.
  • Experience identifying client needs and positioning appropriate solutions.
  • Strong listening, presentation, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build trust with customers, identify key technical stakeholders, and collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to work effectively from a home office and travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems; knowledge of Linux, AWS, REST APIs, or Python is preferred.
