Description

  • Qualify opportunities from a technical perspective and help move the sales cycle forward.
  • Communicate Sapio Sciences’ technical value proposition clearly to prospects and customers.
  • Partner with account executives to win life sciences customer accounts through technical demonstrations.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the product set and roadmap.
  • Create and maintain tailored demos and demo scripts for target life sciences segments.
  • Present and demonstrate the solution to customers and prospects.
  • Translate prospect goals and challenges into internal requirements for successful delivery.
  • Lead technical proposals, RFP responses, and related documentation to close deals.
  • Work with Customer Success to ensure a clear technical handover for deployment.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline such as biology, chemistry, or physics.
  • Experience selling or implementing scientific information technology solutions.
  • Experience as a SaaS Solution Consultant or in an equivalent technical sales role.
  • Previous experience with LIMS or ELN software.
  • Comfort presenting to both scientists and information technology audiences.
  • Ability to quickly identify client needs and position solutions accordingly.
  • Software problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Demonstrated success working effectively from a home office.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems.
  • Preferred knowledge of Linux, Amazon Web Services, REST APIs, or Python.
  • Deep knowledge of LIMS, ELN, and SDMS products and their laboratory applications is ideal.
