Description

  • Provide world-class hardware and software support to customers as part of the Tier 2 support team.
  • Resolve medium to high-complexity customer issues and troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner while meeting SLA goals.
  • Author and maintain customer-facing knowledge base articles to improve self-service.
  • Work with Engineering and Product teams to reproduce bugs and build testbeds as needed.
  • Provide feedback to Support Management on product and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with support engineers across multiple locations to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles while supporting global scale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), or another technical field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in support, engineering, or other technical roles.
  • 1–2 years of demonstrated experience troubleshooting mobile applications.
  • Strong familiarity with CRMs such as Zendesk or Salesforce.
  • Comfort interfacing with engineers and translating complex technical concepts into everyday language.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence individual contributors and leaders across the company.
  • Strong bias for action, ability to dive deep, and commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to work in a hyper-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed to meet customer demand.
  • Experience with industrial systems, electronics, cars, or IoT devices is a plus.
  • Experience troubleshooting APIs is preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish or French skills are a plus.

  • Annual base salary of CAD $86,275 to $101,500.
