Description

  • Support the ADR Business Partner in improving reporting structures and workflows in Salesforce.
  • Partner with the Sales Systems team to automate workflows and enhance system processes.
  • Define business requirements, conduct UAT, and lead sales communications for system changes.
  • Intake, assess, and prioritize requests and improvement opportunities based on business impact and effort.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop regular, data-driven quota recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the SalesOps Business Partner on holistic quota strategy.
  • Own, develop, and maintain SQL queries across Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and Databricks.
  • Serve as the primary owner for troubleshooting critical support issues and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Create tickets and work with Sales Systems to resolve operational issues.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in a Sales Analyst role or similar growth or analytics role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps Script.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the broader sales technology ecosystem.
  • Strong organizational skills and sound business judgment with the ability to manage projects end-to-end.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and craft clear, compelling narratives using data.
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills across company, team, and sales-rep audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top university; degrees in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or Engineering are a plus.
  • MBA is optional.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with Product Management and/or Six Sigma best practices is a plus but not required.
