Description

  • Monitor and maintain the inbound technical inquiry queue for the Global Sales Team.
  • Support technical trials and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of Samsara solutions in customer operations.
  • Create scripting solutions and integrations to support technical demonstrations and testing.
  • Provide internal technical Q&A support to account teams working with customers.
  • Produce and manage digital content for product learning, product adoption, hardware installation, and software configuration.
  • Update and maintain internal hardware and software lab environments, including office and remote kits.
  • Coordinate and participate in new product testing activities.
  • Gather and surface industry-specific customer use cases by working with technical sales teams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication for RFP responses, product feature requests, and customer support triage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of cloud software, networking, automation, or control systems.
  • Experience tinkering with hardware gadgets, sensors, or vehicles is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely from the Southeast region of the US within the locations specified in the posting.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified location, if applicable.
