Description

  • Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of Specialist Solutions Architects in France.
  • Guide the team through complex technical sales cycles and strategic customer engagements.
  • Deploy technical experts to the most critical use cases to help exceed regional consumption targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in large customer organizations.
  • Support customer success by helping deepen Databricks platform usage and reduce churn in strategic accounts.
  • Oversee the regional growth quota and help drive account expansion.
  • Resolve customer questions, concerns, and escalations on strategic accounts and opportunities.
  • Coach team members on technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Partner with Sales, Field Engineering, and other internal teams to improve team effectiveness and morale.
  • Mentor team members and help build career paths and promotion plans.

Requirements

  • Experience in senior roles in the data space with a technical product such as data warehousing, big data, or machine learning.
  • Experience leading technical, customer-facing overlay teams of more than 8 people, preferably in a pre-sales organization.
  • Experience serving as a trusted advisor to technical executives on strategic data infrastructure decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player while also challenging priorities and driving focus.
  • Demonstrated self-starter mindset with strategic planning and analytical thinking skills.
  • Experience leading teams through technical qualification, proof of concepts, architecture discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Experience hiring qualified candidates, ramping them up successfully, and promoting them into larger roles.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, and Professional Services.
