Description

  • Coach a team of approximately 8 account executives on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly target achievement.
  • Hire new account executives and support their onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Work cross-functionally to solve problems and manage projects.
  • Create training content for ongoing team development.
  • Support account executives with professional development plans.
  • Provide clear, tactical feedback and foster team culture through high emotional intelligence.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles across the team and broader commercial organization.
  • Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience with proven success owning a complex selling motion from prospecting through close.
  • 1–2+ years of people management experience preferred.
  • Experience selling full-cycle sales.
  • Strong track record of overachievement, including coaching a team on outbounding.
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers, multiple products, and extended timeframes.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Self-starter who is adaptable to change.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to learn a unique industry.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to provide upward feedback.
  • Familiarity with SFDC.
