Description

  • Lead a team of Solutions Architects focused on large and strategic customers in India.
  • Build and manage the pre-sales team for the Data & AI domain.
  • Help scale the Field Engineering organization while maintaining hiring quality.
  • Create and promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed team culture.
  • Increase the return on investment of Solutions Architect involvement in sales cycles.
  • Drive solution- and value-based selling across the field engineering organization.
  • Coach and mentor Solutions Architects to understand customer business needs and uncover revenue opportunities.
  • Interface with leadership and C-suite stakeholders at strategic accounts to build trust and credibility.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to build Databricks’ brand in India.
  • Bring field engineering priorities and learnings into organizational planning and strategy.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing managerial role building and managing teams of Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS professionals.
  • Experience working with strategic Banking, Financial Services, or Digital Enterprise accounts generating more than $1M ARR.
  • 6+ years of experience in Big Data Architecture, including Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Machine Learning, or Data Science components.
  • Experience scaling and mentoring field and technical teams in both in-person and remote working models.
  • Knowledge of and passion for data-driven decisions, AI, and cloud software models.
  • Knowledge of the Apache Spark and Databricks ecosystem.
  • Experience leading technical pre-sales teams in a high-growth environment (preferred).
  • Ability to engage with executive stakeholders and large enterprise customers (preferred).
