Description

  • Own the technical win for strategic enterprise accounts and partner closely with Account Executives throughout complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrate Samsara’s products and platform capabilities on-site, remotely in webinars, and at conferences and trade shows.
  • Lead live proof-of-concept trials, including hardware installation in and around vehicles and equipment.
  • Respond to functional and technical portions of RFIs and RFPs.
  • Work with Product Management and other teams to help develop the Samsara platform.
  • Identify customer processes, needs, and pain points, and translate them into trusted-advisor guidance and solution recommendations.
  • Use creative and adaptive approaches to remove sales obstacles and support deal progression.
  • Remain highly available to Sales and cross-functional teams while contributing to regional product impact and SE enablement.
  • Contribute technical and industry knowledge through internal communication channels, training, and team support.
  • Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles and 3+ years of pre-sales experience.
  • Experience with enterprise sales cycles or equivalent.
  • A consistent track record of selling complex solutions.
  • Experience executing discovery through proof-of-value and technical win stages.
  • Understanding of value selling, MEDDICC, and Command of the Message.
  • Previous hands-on experience with customer evaluations and deployments (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud software, IoT, networking, SaaS, automation, or control systems (preferred).
  • Experience with integration projects and at least a basic understanding of RESTful APIs.
  • Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience or background in fleet, logistics, supply chain, telematics, manufacturing, or operations is a plus.
  • Remote role with the flexibility to travel up to 75% across the UK.
  • London office serves as the home base.
  • Must be able to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified work location.
