Description

  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations aligned to customer use cases.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to assess prospect environments, pain points, security stacks, and compliance requirements.
  • Own and execute proof-of-value and proof-of-concept engagements, including environment setup and endpoint agent configuration.
  • Assist prospects with deployment planning across on-premise, cloud, and private cloud architectures.
  • Configure APIs and troubleshoot complex deployment and integration issues during evaluations.
  • Partner with Account Executives as the primary technical resource throughout the sales cycle.
  • Relay market intelligence, feature gaps, and competitive insights to Product and Engineering teams.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success to ensure smooth post-sale onboarding.
  • Build and maintain reusable demo environments, battle cards, architecture diagrams, and technical collateral.
  • Document deployment best practices and onboarding guides to improve consistency across the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Solutions Consulting within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience supporting technical evaluations for mid-market to enterprise accounts.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, including command-line usage and server administration.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle, plus SaaS deployment models.
  • Familiarity with endpoint agents, virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to configure APIs and troubleshoot complex deployment or integration issues.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for basic automation tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
  • Consultative, value-driven approach to customer interactions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple active evaluations and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with diagramming tools such as Lucidchart or Visio is preferred.
  • Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM is a plus.
  • Cybersecurity or DLP platform experience with tools such as Teramind, Proofpoint ITM, DTEX, Varonis, or Forcepoint is a plus.
