Description

  • Source and prospect new mid-market customers for Samsara’s IoT solutions.
  • Manage full-cycle sales from initial outreach through closing.
  • Run proof-of-concepts and product trials with prospective customers.
  • Navigate multiple stakeholders and sell to executives and CXOs.
  • Lead pricing discussions and negotiate multi-faceted deal terms.
  • Build pipeline through research, outbound calling, and consistent prospecting.
  • Develop strong customer relationships over time in complex sales cycles.
  • Work collaboratively with teammates throughout the selling process.
  • Travel approximately 25% of the time to meet customers and support sales activity.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role.
  • Experience independently closing new deals larger than $10,000 in annual revenue.
  • Must be located in one of these states: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, or Iowa.
  • Proven track record of consistent quota achievement.
  • Experience selling in the midmarket space with medium to large deal sizes.
  • Experience with high-volume cold calling.
  • Demonstrated growth mindset and willingness to be collaborative.
  • SFDC familiarity.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.
