Description

  • Increase revenue opportunities through new business and expansion of existing accounts in partnership with sales and client success teams.
  • Support the discovery process for technical, functional, and value proposition discussions for retailer and brand solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proofs of concept, strategic recommendations, and product demonstrations in person and via Zoom.
  • Evaluate client business goals and data/system integration requirements and recommend effective strategies to meet them.
  • Communicate market feedback to product management and services to inform future product and service development.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure a strong handoff to service teams and share documentation from the sales cycle.
  • Participate in self-paced learning to deepen product knowledge across the Rithum platform.
  • Stay current on changes in the industry environment.
  • Overcome technical objections during the sales cycle by clearly presenting platform and service offerings.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of pre-sales experience in an e-commerce environment supporting high-volume, transactional applications.
  • Proven success driving client adoption of technology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in discovery, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques.
  • Experience in a technical environment, specifically working with data transformation and exchange.
  • Ability to adapt to new software tools and environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Understanding of marketplaces and webstores such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, BigCommerce, and Shopify (preferred).
  • Retail media and digital marketing experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of online marketing and advertising concepts (preferred).
  • Experience working with large retail clients and/or brand manufacturers (preferred).
  • Technical working knowledge of API integrations, including REST and SOAP (preferred).
  • Up to 10% travel required.
