Description

  • Define and execute a North America field events plan to support brand visibility and business goals.
  • Develop and run localized marketing strategies to generate demand, leads, and pipeline in target regions.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver aligned, seamless events.
  • Plan and execute a range of events including executive dinners, trade shows, client conferences, and multi-city roadshows.
  • Own event execution across budgeting, pre- and post-event marketing, logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis.
  • Track attendance, leads, opportunities, pipeline impact, and client feedback to measure event success.
  • Present event performance metrics and actionable insights to stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Use company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to improve event effectiveness and client experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field or corporate events management experience within a technology, software, or e-commerce organization.
  • Experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector.
  • Experience leading and executing industry events such as Shoptalk, NRF, or eTail.
  • Proven ownership and management of event budgets across different scales and complexity.
  • Experience planning events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing metrics and how to measure event and field marketing impact.
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting events across North America in diverse industries and market segments preferred.
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results preferred.
  • Preference for candidates based on the U.S. East Coast due to collaboration with a global field marketing team.
  • Willingness to travel 25%–40%.
