Description

  • Design, build, and maintain PowerShell, Python, Bash, and similar automation scripts and workflows.
  • Own automated user, device, and identity lifecycle workflows using Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf, APIs, and webhooks.
  • Instrument, monitor, troubleshoot, and improve automation reliability, logging, alerting, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Administer enterprise identity, endpoint, collaboration, and productivity platforms, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Teams, and Tanium.
  • Resolve Windows and macOS end-user issues, own requests through completion, and escalate critical incidents.
  • Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to identify and automate repetitive processes.
  • Document workflows, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, integration notes, and technical solutions.
  • Use and validate AI-assisted scripts, configurations, documentation, and recommendations in accordance with security standards.
  • Test, deploy, and monitor automation workflows while communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical role, including hands-on scripting experience.
  • Experience administering enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, or Teams.
  • Experience adapting and troubleshooting automation scripts or workflows for moderately complex technical issues.
  • Experience using AI productivity and coding tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot; working examples are required.
  • Availability to work aligned with the U.S. Central or Mountain time zones and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Successful experience working remotely and availability for occasional quarterly travel to Rithum offices; travel may be up to 10%.
  • 3+ years of IT automation, systems engineering, or DevOps-adjacent experience preferred.
  • Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, workflow orchestration tools, IT service management, endpoint management, or platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zapier, Make, n8n, Workato, Intune, Jamf, Tanium, or CrowdStrike preferred.
  • Relevant certifications or personal scripting and automation projects preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $75,000–$115,000 annually plus a 10% discretionary bonus.
