Description

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux bare-metal servers across data centers.
  • Build and operate virtualization, storage, GPU compute, and database clusters.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux, hardware, networking, and cluster issues.
  • Tune infrastructure for throughput, latency, stability, and resource utilization.
  • Monitor infrastructure health, identify bottlenecks, and prevent recurring issues.
  • Manage the full server lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Improve reliability during failures, maintenance, and scaling events.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks using Ansible and scripting.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Production experience with on-premises bare-metal infrastructure.
  • Understanding of Linux performance tuning and bottleneck analysis.
  • Experience monitoring infrastructure and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Experience with server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Infrastructure automation experience, ideally with Ansible.
  • Hardware bring-up and lifecycle experience with BMC/IPMI, firmware, BIOS tuning, and PXE/netboot provisioning (preferred).
  • Experience with virtualization clusters, live migration, and high availability (preferred).
  • Experience with distributed storage clusters, replication, rebalancing, and recovery from disk or node failures (preferred).
