Description

  • Design, build, and maintain PowerShell, Python, Bash, and similar automation scripts and workflows.
  • Automate user lifecycle, device provisioning, identity lifecycle, IT service delivery, and systems administration processes using platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
  • Implement logging, alerting, auditing, and performance measurement for deployed automations.
  • Administer and monitor identity, endpoint, collaboration, and productivity platforms, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Teams.
  • Resolve Windows and macOS end-user issues, own service requests end-to-end, and escalate critical incidents.
  • Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure Engineering, and Information Security teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Document workflows, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, integrations, and technical solutions in the automation knowledge base.
  • Test, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve automation workflows.
  • Use and validate AI-assisted scripts, configurations, documentation, and solution designs in accordance with security standards.
  • Participate in on-call support, provide scripting guidance, and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, service desk operations, or a related technical role, including scripting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Experience administering enterprise identity, collaboration, productivity, endpoint, or security platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Intune, Jamf, or Tanium.
  • Experience adapting and troubleshooting automation scripts or workflows for moderately complex technical issues.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Claude for research, documentation, automation, and problem-solving.
  • Hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot, demonstrated through a portfolio, repository, or project.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Availability for Central or Mountain U.S. time-zone working hours, occasional travel of up to 10%, and an on-call rotation.
  • Successful experience working remotely and coordinating cross-team escalations.
  • Preferred: 3+ years in IT automation, systems engineering, or DevOps-adjacent roles; relevant certifications; REST APIs, webhooks, workflow orchestration tools, endpoint management, or personal automation projects.

  • Base salary of $75,000–$115,000 annually plus a discretionary 10% bonus.
