Description

  • Act as the primary technical and product expert for the sales team and clients.
  • Understand complex customer business problems and translate them into solution recommendations.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to uncover business and technical requirements and turn them into solution blueprints.
  • Deliver high-quality demos with clear objectives, success criteria, and scope control.
  • Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and information security questionnaires, and maintain current product knowledge.
  • Draft and present business case data for requested product enhancements and identify business impact for Product Management.
  • Own technical sales FAQs and ensure answers on topics such as availability, disaster recovery, and PCI are accurate and consistent.
  • Present and defend complex technical architectures and value propositions to C-level executives.
  • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing on solution design, customer expectations, and implementation readiness.
  • Support product training and onboarding for new sales reps and solution engineers.
  • Travel as needed within the sales territory and represent Revinate at business development events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Solution Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Architecture.
  • Experience in SaaS, MarTech, Contact Center, or Revenue Management platform environments is preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the hospitality industry ecosystem, including PMS, CRS, CRM, booking engines, data warehouse structures, and call center technology.
  • Familiarity with common API standards such as HTNG is preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of RESTful APIs, webhooks, SSO (SAML/OAuth), data security (PCI/GDPR), and cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Ability to work across the organization and promote cross-functional collaboration.
  • Consultative problem-solving skills with an organized and analytical approach.
  • Ability to communicate, demonstrate, and document value propositions, solutions, and market positioning.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Ability to present requirements and recommendations to executive audiences in hospitality.
  • Willingness to travel and support business development activities such as conferences, trade shows, and client presentations.
