Description

  • Serve as the primary HR strategic partner to commercial leadership across sales, marketing, business development, and advisory services.
  • Translate business strategies into actionable people strategies aligned with company goals and values.
  • Support salesforce effectiveness, go-to-market capability building, and sales incentive planning.
  • Guide talent planning, succession strategies, and workforce optimization for future growth.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on strategic hiring plans to attract and retain sales and marketing talent.
  • Use workforce analytics to inform talent deployment and capability development decisions.
  • Lead organizational design and effectiveness efforts, including team structure, role clarity, and reporting alignment.
  • Support change management initiatives such as restructuring, business transformation, and new operating models.
  • Coach senior commercial leaders and frontline sales managers, and support leadership development programs.
  • Manage employee relations cases, investigations, corrective actions, and compliance across the commercial organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in human resources, an MBA, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience in a strategic HRBP role.
  • Experience supporting sales and commercial leadership teams, preferably in energy efficiency, sustainability, or SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of sales compensation structures, incentive programs, and performance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with modern HR systems such as Workday, Oracle, or ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated success supporting rapid growth, transformation, or M&A integration.
  • Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and rewards.
  • Interest in sustainability and a passion for making a meaningful environmental impact.
  • HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or Organizational Development certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience leading cross-functional change and culture initiatives preferred.

  • Base salary range of $130,000–$160,000.
  • Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
