Description

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of customers independently and develop strategic relationships across territories.
  • Drive customer onboarding, nurturing, renewal, and ongoing engagement throughout the customer journey.
  • Partner with Sales to create and execute account growth strategies and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Identify, document, and escalate customer risks while providing timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead complex customer success initiatives and act as the escalation point for challenging accounts.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with Sales to close them.
  • Assist with product order inquiries and coordinate with logistics to resolve order-related issues.
  • Ensure customers understand product benefits, features, and deployment of hardware.
  • Monitor customer accounts for signs of dissatisfaction or churn and take action to retain customers.
  • Gather customer feedback and share themes with product development to improve the platform.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Customer Success.
  • Strong understanding of the K–12 education competitive landscape.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented thinking skills.
  • Excellent customer success strategy acumen with business development and negotiating skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, presentation, and oral communication skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals and delivering outcomes to customers.
  • Experience within a SaaS education company is a plus.
  • Ability to operate in a highly efficient, goal-oriented environment.
  • Located in Southern California, ideally Orange County, CA (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

  • Base salary of $87,000–$95,000, plus bonus eligibility for hitting CSM targets.
