Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing Time & Attendance team.
  • Foster a positive, innovative team culture across international borders in a remote, asynchronous environment.
  • Oversee performance management, including bi-annual evaluations and goal alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of regional team members.
  • Act as the final escalation point for high-risk Time & Attendance issues, including wage-hour disputes, policy interpretation, and disciplinary matters.
  • Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Employee Relations to improve Time & Attendance processes, workflows, and SOPs.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation opportunities, to increase quality, efficiency, and scale.
  • Ensure compliant Time & Attendance service delivery while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information, including sensitive records and investigations.
  • Champion responsible adoption of AI-assisted tools by running pilots, setting guardrails, and scaling successful use cases.

Requirements

  • Hands-on people management experience with a coaching mindset, including leading distributed international teams.
  • Proven HR Operations experience across multiple countries.
  • Deep knowledge of Time & Attendance, wage/hour laws, policy exceptions, and disciplinary processes across jurisdictions.
  • Strong experience resolving complex Time & Attendance cases and wage/hour compliance issues in APAC countries.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international scale-up environment.
  • Comfort working in a service-level environment with SLAs and KPIs, with a focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using a variety of digital tools for process optimization and automation.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Ability to manage employee data and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Startup experience, remote working experience, and additional languages beyond English are a plus.
