Description

  • Partner with T&A, Payroll Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to integrate country-specific labor law requirements into system design and configuration.
  • Ensure compliance reviews are built into project lifecycles from requirements gathering through testing and go-live readiness.
  • Interpret statutory obligations with country compliance and legal experts and translate them into system controls, technical specifications, and operational controls.
  • Serve as the central compliance point of contact for T&A-related initiatives across Compliance, Product, Payroll Operations, and Implementation teams.
  • Establish governance checkpoints and review processes that maintain regulatory alignment without slowing delivery.
  • Identify compliance gaps and control weaknesses, assess their impact, and recommend corrective actions or escalation when needed.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests related to Time & Attendance systems and processes.
  • Compile and deliver complete audit evidence and control documentation, and track remediation actions through closure.
  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation such as control narratives, process maps, risk registers, and change logs.
  • Incorporate compliance impact assessments into system and process change management.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with global payroll Time & Attendance systems such as Workday Time Tracking, UKG, ADP, or Ceridian Dayforce across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of T&A compliance requirements, including working time directives, overtime calculations, rest period enforcement, accrual methodologies, and statutory record-keeping obligations.
  • Knowledge of how collective bargaining agreements affect T&A configuration and operational processing.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into scalable system controls.
  • Experience interpreting labor legislation and converting statutory requirements into operational controls and system functionality.
  • Experience coordinating audit responses and preparing compliance documentation for regulatory or internal review.
  • Track record of identifying and mitigating compliance risks in multi-country environments.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience embedding compliance into agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders such as Product, Operations, Implementation, Legal, and Compliance without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating structured documentation that withstands audit and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with country-based compliance experts and global stakeholders across time zones.
