Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned country or payroll scope.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process end-to-end payroll in-house, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality across payroll operations.
  • Prepare payroll journals and reconciliations.
  • Track and support KPIs and SLAs for payroll delivery.
  • Implement and improve payroll processes.
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists.
  • Back up regional managers during periods of absence.

Requirements

  • Experience with end-to-end payroll processing in-house or through a payroll service provider.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Suite.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international, and largely asynchronous work environment.
  • A proactive approach to improving and speeding up work.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Remote work experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience in automation and AI is expected to be incorporated into the role requirements.
