Description

  • Assist with designing end-to-end technical architectures, system integration diagrams, and specifications for federal IT programs.
  • Translate functional, operational, and mission requirements into solution designs and technical user stories.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system-of-systems diagrams, interface control documents, and architectural blueprints.
  • Support integration of multi-tier applications, cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and AI/ML workflows.
  • Partner with software, infrastructure, and test teams to provide architectural guidance and resolve technical challenges.
  • Incorporate federal security baselines into designs aligned with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud Computing SRG IL2–IL6.
  • Apply cloud-native patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methods to enable continuous delivery.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • 4+ years of technical experience in software engineering, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture.
  • Experience designing, configuring, or deploying cloud solutions; AWS experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of microservices, full-stack design patterns, and REST or GraphQL API integration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows, and security scanning.
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent Azure/GCP certification (preferred).
  • Experience delivering solutions in federal government or DoD contract environments (preferred).
  • Experience with GitLab, Jira, Databricks, modern data architectures, AI/ML integration, or Agile frameworks (preferred).
