Description

  • Lead the development and delivery of growth strategies across the Foundation’s priority markets, tailored to local needs and informed by evidence.
  • Build, lead, and manage country and regional teams in India, Kenya, South Africa, and other priority markets.
  • Lead the global partnerships function by developing and managing strategic relationships with mission-aligned organisations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver agreed objectives and key results across the organisation.
  • Ensure programmes and partnerships have strong monitoring and evaluation frameworks aligned to the Foundation’s theory of change.
  • Embed accessibility, inclusion, and safeguarding commitments across programmes and partnerships.
  • Work with the Chief Learning Officer to ensure all work reflects the Foundation’s teaching and learning principles.
  • Contribute to business development and fundraising to expand the Foundation’s reach and impact.
  • As an Executive team member, help shape the organisation’s strategic direction, culture, and values.

Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Comfortable with frequent international travel.
  • Strong track record of leading the growth of educational programmes at scale, ideally across multiple countries and diverse contexts.
  • Experience working within or alongside education systems in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Direct experience in, or deep knowledge of, one or more of the Foundation’s priority markets.
  • Experience developing and managing high-value strategic partnerships with governments, international NGOs, and mission-aligned organisations.
  • Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed, multi-cultural teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with credibility at senior external levels.
  • Experience contributing to business development and fundraising.
  • A genuine commitment to the Foundation’s mission to expand access to computing and AI education.
  • Experience in one or more priority markets and understanding of how to build trust and navigate complexity.
  • Experience translating a commitment to inclusion into programme design, delivery, and evaluation.

Benefits

  • Salary of £105,000–£125,000 p.a. full-time equivalent, dependent on experience.
