Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable backend microservices using Go.
  • Develop and deploy RESTful APIs and define integration points with product and front-end teams.
  • Ensure services are deployed, monitored, and scaled efficiently in Kubernetes.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and planning sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to maintain high availability and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tooling, and infrastructure.
  • Own backend services end-to-end, including design, deployment, on-call support, and incident remediation.
  • Apply system design tradeoffs and reliability patterns such as retries, timeouts, circuit breakers, and asynchronous workflows.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional backend software development experience, with significant microservices experience in production.
  • Deep expertise in Python, including experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Strong experience with Go (Golang) and high-concurrency microservices.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Keycloak, API authentication, and JWT.
  • Experience with ClickHouse, MySQL, and Redis.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for deployment and scaling.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and logging tools, and Git workflows.
  • Preferred experience with event-driven architectures, streaming data processing, OAuth 2.0, and performance tuning for Python and Go.
  • Strong observability experience with structured logging, correlation IDs, tracing, and tools such as Datadog or equivalent.
  • Practical Linux and networking knowledge, including commands like ps, top, journalctl, systemctl, netstat/ss, lsof, curl, grep, sed, awk, and log parsing.
