Description

  • Analyze product requirements and provide feedback.
  • Design and implement clean, maintainable features and backend services.
  • Develop scalable, high-performance applications and intuitive database schemas.
  • Contribute across the stack, including APIs, user interfaces, integrations, and infrastructure, with a primary focus on backend development.
  • Write automated unit tests and perform rigorous functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.
  • Integrate with financial institutions and partners while maintaining secure handling of funds, balances, and customer data.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience with a strong backend focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, including PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Experience designing scalable, high-performance web applications and highly available backend services.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Ability to model and design intuitive, scalable database schemas.
  • Experience with agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and DevOps practices is preferred; interest in AI tools and technologies is valued.
