Description

  • Monitor production and SaaS environments and respond to alerts.
  • Perform routine application and platform deployments, builds, and release workflows.
  • Handle, investigate, own, and resolve or route operational requests.
  • Troubleshoot production issues using logs, metrics, Kubernetes tools, and diagnostic data.
  • Execute approved remediation actions such as restarting or scaling workloads.
  • Escalate complex incidents and coordinate incident or war-room response when needed.
  • Follow, maintain, and improve operational procedures and runbooks.
  • Participate in follow-the-sun coverage, regional handoffs, scheduled shifts, and on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud operations, infrastructure operations, production support, or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
  • Working familiarity with Helm, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
  • Experience with at least one public cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Datadog or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of basic networking, troubleshooting, and Bash scripting.
  • Comfort working with production systems and controlled operational procedures.
  • Strong investigation, communication, documentation, escalation, and independent working skills.
  • Willingness to participate in scheduled shifts, on-call responsibilities, and occasional flexible hours.
  • UK work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is unavailable. A degree or professional certification is not required. Familiarity with databases, storage, IAM, DNS, and cloud networking is preferred.
