Description

  • Own end-to-end testing for iOS features, from requirements review and risk identification through release validation.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing of new and existing iOS functionality.
  • Create test cases and checklists, identify edge cases, and validate adaptive UI behavior across screen sizes, device families, and iOS versions.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests to expand regression coverage, including end-to-end coverage for new functionality.
  • Help migrate the test automation framework to native Swift-based automation.
  • Test REST APIs, JSON responses, integrations, and real-time data flows.
  • Analyze network traffic and investigate issues using proxy tools, device logs, and debugging tools.
  • Collaborate with Android and other teams to validate cross-platform functionality and resolve implementation inconsistencies.
  • Integrate and maintain automated tests in CI/CD pipelines for reliable feedback on product changes.
  • Use AI tools to support test design, automation development, code reviews, and debugging.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience testing native mobile applications, with a focus on iOS.
  • Understanding of Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design, and mobile platform-specific features and limitations.
  • Hands-on experience with mobile test automation using Appium, XCUITest, and/or Espresso.
  • Ability to design scalable automation frameworks using patterns such as Page Object or Screenplay.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Swift, Python, or TypeScript for maintainable test automation code.
  • Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing, plus test-design techniques such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, decision tables, and pairwise testing.
  • Experience testing REST APIs and JSON, with familiarity with Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, Retrofit, requests, and real-time/WebSocket testing.
  • Experience with traffic interception and debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, Fiddler, Xcode Console, Android Studio Logcat, and adb.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Bitrise.
  • English at B1 level or above and Russian at C2 level.
  • Experience writing Swift/XCUITest automation, migrating legacy frameworks, or testing financial and trading products is preferred.
