Description

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain new and existing backend applications.
  • Produce high-quality, well-documented code.
  • Co-own service architecture, resilience, scalability, and robustness.
  • Apply Domain-Driven Design principles to backend systems.
  • Collaborate closely with mobile, frontend, and product teams in cross-functional squads.
  • Take part in shaping the direction of the banking product.
  • Own your product scope and deliver impactful solutions for users.
  • Contribute technical leadership and mentor other engineers.
  • Work on user-facing products and large-scale web applications.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a software engineer working on user-facing products.
  • Exposure to architectural patterns for large, high-scale web applications.
  • Pragmatic, product-driven mindset with a focus on customer value.
  • Strong code quality, testing, and code review practices.
  • Good communication skills and comfort working with non-technical colleagues.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Curious and open-minded, with a desire to keep learning.
  • Experience with Go and Ruby for backend development is preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and ELK is preferred.
  • Must be living in or willing to relocate to Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.
