Description

  • Lead, build, and develop a high-performing team of Cloud Native Architects supporting EMEA Enterprise accounts.
  • Set standards for technical execution, executive engagement, and adoption outcomes across assigned accounts.
  • Create and maintain a repeatable operating model that improves deal quality, predictability, and revenue impact.
  • Own account coverage and domain assignments within global accounts, including escalation criteria.
  • Coach direct reports through regular feedback, mentorship, development plans, and performance expectations.
  • Partner with recruiting to attract, hire, and onboard technical sales talent quickly and effectively.
  • Guide CNAs in applying the technical sales process to improve opportunity focus, execution, and disqualification decisions.
  • Run regular cadences with co-seller technical sales leaders and external partners to manage risk, readiness, and pipeline health.
  • Lead bi-weekly working sessions with product managers to align on releases, readiness, and feature evolution.
  • Synthesize customer and deployment insights to prioritize feature requests and provide meaningful feedback to business units.

Requirements

  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications.
  • Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions.
  • Experience targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
  • Experience contributing to or leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
  • Strong knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures, including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN.
  • Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud native architecture, on-prem, public cloud, provisioning automation, and containers.
  • Knowledge of VMware, local area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
  • A BS in CS, EE, or another technical degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with modern web architecture, including LAMP stack, scale-out vs. scale-up architectures, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework, is a plus.
  • Curiosity and passion for technology and for explaining new platforms and concepts to customers.
