Description

  • Identify and recruit Japanese-based businesses to participate in research studies, advisory programs, and data initiatives.
  • Conduct outreach to founders, executives, and decision-makers across startups, SMBs, and enterprises in Japan.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with participating companies.
  • Design and execute outreach campaigns to engage Japanese businesses through LinkedIn, founder communities, industry groups, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Manage follow-ups and nurture sequences to convert outreach into participation.
  • Conduct discovery conversations with potential business participants to assess program fit.
  • Onboard businesses by explaining requirements, timelines, expectations, and participation guidelines.
  • Track recruitment pipelines, outreach status, and onboarding progress across internal systems and CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal research and operations teams to align recruitment with study needs and manage participant communications throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve outreach efficiency through automation, workflow improvements, and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, partnerships, growth, recruitment, or related roles.
  • Native-level Japanese fluency, written and spoken, is required.
  • Professional fluency in English for collaboration with global Pulse Labs teams.
  • Experience engaging with businesses or senior stakeholders.
  • Strong written communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage outreach pipelines, spreadsheets, and CRM tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
