Description

  • Serve as the primary PACS contact for radiologists and MRI technologists.
  • Configure and maintain worklists, hanging protocols, user roles, and image routing to support diagnostic workflows.
  • Translate radiologist workflow needs into actionable system configurations.
  • Monitor and improve workflow performance, efficiency, and quality.
  • Support onboarding of new radiologists, scanners, and imaging sites.
  • Oversee day-to-day PACS functionality to maintain high availability and uninterrupted clinical operations.
  • Monitor system performance, storage capacity, and latency to prevent disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot PACS, viewer, modality, and integration issues in coordination with Clinical Engineering and IT.
  • Partner on system upgrades, integrations, and testing to ensure clinical readiness before deployment.
  • Manage data integrity, including duplicate studies, metadata discrepancies, patient aliases, registrations, and imported imaging.
  • Audit image quality, data integrity, and workflow consistency across sites.
  • Support HIPAA compliance, role-based access controls, downtime workflows, disaster recovery, and validation testing.
  • Act as the liaison between radiologists, clinical operations, clinical engineering, and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a PACS Administrator, Imaging Systems Analyst, or in a similar role.
  • Direct experience supporting radiologists and advanced imaging workflows.
  • Strong working knowledge of DICOM standards, image routing, and PACS architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering, IT, and product teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-growing, multi-site healthcare organization.
  • Ownership mindset with strong accountability to clinical outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Healthcare, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • HL7, FHIR, CIIP, PARCA, and/or vendor-specific PACS certifications preferred.
