Description

  • Own and manage the lifecycle of BSA/AML operational policies, procedures, and standards, including drafting, updates, validations, approvals, and document control.
  • Ensure procedures reflect current operating practices, regulatory guidance, and the organization’s risk posture.
  • Partner with Operations and Program Management to translate regulatory or audit feedback into practical standards.
  • Maintain version control, review cadence, and evidence of adoption for governance documents.
  • Partner with Learning & Development to develop and maintain BSA/AML training content and deployment plans.
  • Assign training to appropriate audiences and support knowledge checks, attestations, and completion tracking.
  • Coordinate internal audit, independent testing, regulatory exam, supervisory review, and validation requests.
  • Track requests, due dates, owners, and responses to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Review materials for consistency, accuracy, and defensibility before submission.
  • Coordinate remediation of audit findings, exam issues, and validation observations, and support issue tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Investigations, Program Management, Data Analytics, Risk, Compliance, and Assurance on governance and change initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • CAMS or a similar certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in BSA/AML, compliance operations, risk governance, or regulatory management.
  • Strong experience with policy and procedure development and audit or exam management.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and maintain clear, regulator-ready documentation.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operationally practical standards.
  • Experience supporting governance, validation, or assurance activities related to BSA/AML Operations is preferred.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or remote-office environment is relevant to the role.
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities.
