Description

  • Manage the broadly syndicated asset-backed securitization transaction program across SoFi products.
  • Select and optimize loan pools and transaction structures.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver marketing materials, internal reporting, and quantitative and qualitative analyses for different audiences.
  • Coordinate with internal capital markets, treasury, investor relations, legal, IT, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with internal and external counsel to review and negotiate transactional terms through execution.
  • Support internal teams including credit, legal, engineering, product, treasury, accounting, servicing, and finance.
  • Prepare communications, correspondence, and due diligence materials for external stakeholders such as investors, lenders, rating agencies, data providers, law firms, trustees, custodians, and accounting firms.
  • Provide ad hoc support for whole loan sales, asset-backed securitizations, new products, securities financing, unsecured lines of credit, and future financing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, primarily in capital markets and ABS execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a similar technical field.
  • Experience with retail tokenization is a plus.
  • Excellent work ethic and willingness to contribute broadly to team and company goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, technical, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial contracts and knowledge of core documents and industry-standard transactional terms and best practices.
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with lending or consumer credit products such as mortgages, student loans, credit cards, or personal loans is a plus.
  • Previous experience with asset-backed securitization data sets such as Bloomberg, Intex, or DV01 is a plus.
