Description

  • Own and drive one or two critical cross-functional projects at a time from ideation through hand-off to the business.
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and success metrics with stakeholders.
  • Lead project status updates with the CEO and/or Chief Medical Officer and communicate progress, bottlenecks, and decisions.
  • Identify and analyze complex business challenges and propose data-driven solutions.
  • Uncover root causes of issues and develop strategies and workarounds to address them.
  • Build alignment and strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other teams.
  • Influence stakeholders without formal authority to secure buy-in and shared outcomes.
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and sustainable project outcomes.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, milestones, and priorities to senior leaders and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in operational, cross-functional roles.
  • Experience in startup settings is preferred for consultants, strategy professionals, and similar candidates.
  • Strong history of high achievement under difficult constraints such as limited time, money, or resources.
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset with full accountability for driving initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making skills and experience with spreadsheets, dashboards, and analytics tools.
  • Track record of building relationships and working effectively across functions.
  • Ideally graduated from a top undergraduate or graduate university.
  • Clear entrepreneurial aspirations and interest in eventually founding or leading a venture.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and not require current or future visa sponsorship.
