Description

  • Provide end-to-end technical ownership of a high-revenue web platform and mobile app.
  • Define architecture decisions and long-term technical strategy across the product stack.
  • Lead the server-side rendering pipeline built with Node.js, Fastify 5, and React 19.
  • Own the data layer across MySQL and BigQuery.
  • Manage GCP infrastructure including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and global load balancing.
  • Integrate and maintain ad-tech systems such as Google Ad Manager, GTM, GTag, and GPT.js.
  • Optimize site speed, server performance, and overall platform performance at scale.
  • Maintain and improve the ML pipeline that supports ad-tech optimization.
  • Work directly with stakeholders to remove bottlenecks and ship production-grade code.

Requirements

  • Strong, production-proven experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong, production-proven experience with React in a server-side rendering context.
  • Experience with MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and ORM usage.
  • Experience with BigQuery for querying and managing large-scale datasets.
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, including Cloud Run, Cloud Build, Cloud SQL, and load balancing.
  • GCP certification is a significant bonus.
  • Experience in ad-tech, including ad serving, yield optimization, and programmatic advertising, is preferred.
  • Affiliate marketing experience, particularly with Anura and Everflow, is preferred.
  • Experience with Cloudflare CDN configuration, caching strategies, and Workers is preferred.
  • Experience with Fastify, especially Fastify 5 patterns, is preferred.
  • Flutter experience for mobile app contribution is preferred.
  • Experience with Golang or Rust for high-performance service work is preferred.
  • Machine learning experience applied to ad-tech optimization is preferred, excluding LLMs or agents.
  • Experience in DeFi, crypto, NFT, blockchain, fintech, or healthcare is preferred.
  • Full-time commitment as an independent contractor is required.
  • Remote work eligibility in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, or Netherlands is required.
