Description

  • Embed directly with client teams throughout engagements and understand operational workflows before designing solutions.
  • Develop production-grade Python for AI integrations, backend services, and RESTful APIs using Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
  • Design, build, and optimize production RAG systems and agentic AI solutions.
  • Own system architecture, technical direction, and trade-off decisions throughout engagements.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, presenting architectures and managing scope expectations.
  • Support presales activities including discovery calls, technical proposals, estimation, scoping, and client demos.
  • Lead architecture reviews, create technical design documents, and contribute to Python engineering standards.
  • Improve Provectus blueprints based on engagement learnings.
  • Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and share technical knowledge.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production systems; demo- or proof-of-concept-only experience is insufficient.
  • Production experience with RAG systems and LLM-based agentic workflows.
  • Strong Python proficiency, including object-oriented programming, design patterns, clean architecture, and performance optimization.
  • Backend development experience with Flask, Django REST, or FastAPI.
  • Recent hands-on AWS experience with services such as SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, ECS, S3, SQS, or ECR; GCP experience is also considered.
  • Experience with LLM APIs including OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience making and defending system architecture and design trade-offs.
  • Client-facing communication skills and ability to work independently with stakeholders.
  • Strong testing practices, including pytest, mocking, and AI-system integration testing.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, production AI/ML deployment, LLM evaluation, and AI-assisted development tools; B2+ English required.
  • Preferred: presales or consulting experience, Financial Services or Healthcare/Life Sciences exposure, React or Vue, AWS or Claude Code certifications, Streamlit or Gradio, CI/CD, modern Python tooling, or Go, Node.js, or Rust.
