Description

  • Lead end-to-end solution design for complex, multi-channel Braze campaigns, Canvas orchestrations, segmentation, and lifecycle programs.
  • Design and implement advanced Braze capabilities, including Catalogs, Connected Content, Liquid logic, Segment Extensions, Event Property Segmentation, and In-App Games.
  • Own scalable data model design covering custom attributes, events, and purchase tracking.
  • Build and troubleshoot APIs, webhooks, Data Transformations, and CDI integrations.
  • Lead requirements gathering and produce technical solution designs, data-flow diagrams, and end-user documentation.
  • Adapt and document solution approaches based on client timelines, technical debt, and team capabilities.
  • Lead client meetings, communicate technical concepts in business language, drive decisions, and manage scope.
  • Act as a strategic advisor by recommending solutions, challenging assumptions, and anticipating client needs.
  • Travel up to 20% for client meetings, workshops, and onsite engagements.

Requirements

  • 5–9 years of marketing technology consulting or applicable customer engagement experience.
  • Significant experience with customer engagement or marketing automation platforms; advanced Braze experience is required.
  • Braze Certified Developer and Braze Certified Technical Marketing Expert certifications, or equivalent expertise with the ability to certify quickly.
  • Advanced knowledge of Braze features including Segment Extensions, Event Property Segmentation, Query Builder, Custom Reporting, In-App Games, Data Transformations, CDI, Message Extras, workspace configuration, and tagging.
  • Proficiency with Liquid personalization, looping, object-attribute segmentation, Connected Content, and AI personalization tools.
  • Experience creating and modifying JSON payloads and testing APIs with Postman and Braze sample calls.
  • SQL experience using SELECT, INSERT, and JOIN operations.
  • Experience advising on Web and Mobile SDK implementations, ingestion methodologies, and data warehouse/CDI configurations.
  • Ability to lead client-facing solution design, requirements gathering, documentation, and multi-level relationship management.
  • Experience with tools such as LucidChart, Visual Studio Code or Cursor, ClickUp, Snowflake, or Databricks; understanding of other MarTech platforms and AI/ML applications is preferred.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom without current or future employer visa sponsorship.
