Description

  • Lead the design and implementation of data and AI/ML architecture solutions across cloud and on-premise platforms.
  • Lead complex customer engagements and align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and act as a technical advisor.
  • Lead technical workshops, training sessions, and presentations.
  • Define and execute data lifecycle processes for ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and architecture frameworks such as AWS Well-Architected and GCP Architecture Framework.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and provide mentorship and guidance to technical talent.
  • Design and execute proofs of concept for emerging technologies such as Generative AI and Machine Learning.
  • Drive best practices for backend and ML services to support scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Oversee data governance and data quality processes across platforms.
  • Stay current with technology trends and continuously improve architecture strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture with a strong focus on Big Data and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Technical sales or pre-sales experience with cloud, big data, and ML solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on delivering measurable business value.
  • Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
  • Proficiency in data engineering and analytics, including designing data pipelines and architectures using AWS, GCP, or Azure data stacks.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience integrating AI/ML components into solutions.
  • Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data analytics.
  • Experience with microservice architecture and containerized deployment options.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
  • Proficiency in backend languages such as TypeScript, Java, Python, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning and MLOps tools such as PyTorch, SageMaker, and MLflow.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Generative AI implementations is preferred.
  • Proficiency with graph databases such as Neo4j or AWS Neptune is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data mesh principles and data contracts is preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of infrastructure deployment tools such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, and Terraform is preferred.
