Description

  • Monitor network, server, and application performance using NOC monitoring tools.
  • Investigate and resolve Level 2 network incidents and service disruptions.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VPN, Internet, wireless, and SD-WAN connectivity issues.
  • Analyze alarms, alerts, and performance metrics to identify potential problems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents.
  • Coordinate with Level 1 support teams and provide technical guidance.
  • Escalate critical issues to Level 3 engineers, vendors, or service providers when needed.
  • Manage incidents, problems, and change requests in line with ITIL processes.
  • Ensure incident resolution within SLA and monitor uptime and availability.
  • Maintain network documentation, troubleshooting procedures, incident reports, and operational reports.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in Network Operations Center or Network Support roles.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, ACLs, Port-Channel, and redundancy protocols.
  • Experience troubleshooting switching and routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco products and Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent security products.
  • Understanding of network security concepts and firewall management.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
