Description

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of learning projects and programs aligned with divisional and enterprise goals.
  • Apply adult learning theory and instructional design models such as ADDIE to create engaging learning content across multiple modalities.
  • Develop and deliver sales training solutions including webinars, digital content, micro-learning, job aids, and thought documents.
  • Support employee benefits sales training for sales representatives, sales support specialists, and account managers.
  • Create onboarding, sales process, product, and operational readiness training materials and delivery support.
  • Own the end-to-end instructional design process for functional and cross-functional workstreams from needs analysis through evaluation.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop learning solutions that meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with Distribution Operations partners and Sales Leaders to identify training opportunities across varying experience levels.
  • Support external partnerships through the development and delivery of learning content.
  • Use content delivery systems to ensure timely, consistent, and measurable training execution.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in business administration, human resources, or organization development; master’s degree preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CPTD or APTD are desirable.
  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design and delivery, preferably in financial services and/or insurance.
  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 or Captivate.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences of varying experience and seniority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, coordinating, and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • CRM and illustration experience is preferred.
  • Experience with learning management systems and learning technologies is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance and employee benefit products and sales processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping timelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve outcomes.
  • Ability to adapt presentations in real time based on audience needs or changing conditions.
