Description

  • Provide external wholesaling support to a select group of distributors, with a primary focus on the wire house and independent broker-dealer market.
  • Achieve aggressive premium growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Manage carrier and distributor relationships across sales, marketing, pending case advocacy, and related areas.
  • Maintain significant virtual engagement with distributors to support territory coverage.
  • Travel overnight at least 50% of the time to meet with distributors and manage accounts.
  • Manage specific accounts across the assigned multi-state territory.
  • Work directly with the Divisional Sales Director in support of sales objectives.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of internal or external life insurance wholesaling experience at the carrier level, preferably in a broker-dealer or wire house environment.
  • Successful point-of-sale experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of life insurance products, sales concepts, and case design.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior sales abilities and strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Technical literacy, including a basic understanding of illustration software, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7 license and state life and health licenses are required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Candidate must live in the territory.
  • CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation is highly desired.
