Description

  • Conduct high-volume outbound calls, texts, and emails to stopped-out students using established campaign cadences.
  • Hold discovery conversations to understand students’ stop-out reasons, goals, and barriers to returning.
  • Guide students through pathway selection and readmission or re-entry application steps, then coordinate warm handoffs to campus contacts.
  • Maintain an accurate personal pipeline in Education Cloud, including dispositions, campus information, next actions, and student records.
  • Track contact, conversation, application-start, and campus-handoff metrics and adjust outreach to improve results.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of readmission policies, processes, deadlines, and eligibility requirements across participating UNC System institutions.
  • Use the campus knowledge base and operating rules to identify appropriate return pathways and escalate exceptions or unclear cases.
  • Capture structured data on student barriers, outcomes, and experiences; provide feedback on messaging, data quality, and recurring objections.
  • Confirm campus handoffs, track outcomes after reconnection, and partner with campus contacts to resolve student questions.
  • Collaborate with the Re-Enrollment Manager and PKH Marketing, Operations, and Analytics teams on campaigns, reporting, and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1+ years of experience in higher education admissions, advising, re-enrollment, or student recruitment, or equivalent experience in high-volume outbound outreach or customer success.
  • Experience with readmission or registrar processes, adult learners, learners with some college but no credential, or the UNC System (preferred).
  • Comfort with high-volume outbound calling and persistence in cold and re-engagement outreach.
  • Ability to learn and accurately apply differing policies and processes across multiple institutions.
  • Strong discovery, listening, and relationship-building skills with returning learners.
  • Knowledge of the challenges and needs of adult and returning learners.
  • Experience with CRM platforms; Salesforce/Education Cloud and outbound dialer or texting tools preferred.
  • Strong documentation, data-entry, and data-informed feedback skills.
  • Knowledge of FERPA and ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and sound judgment.
