Description

  • Achieve and grow sales targets established by ProgressSoft.
  • Prepare and execute a sales plan for the African market aligned with ProgressSoft’s 2022-2026 strategy and business plan.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from cold calls through contract signing and recurring maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Technical Team Leaders throughout the sales process.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure effective customer engagement and accurate understanding of client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Bidding Team to prepare proposals and documents that reflect business requirements and ProgressSoft’s capabilities.
  • Negotiate proposals and contracts for solutions and recurring maintenance.
  • Maintain and update client profiles in ProgressSoft’s CRM.
  • Analyze competitive offerings and prepare comparison sheets against ProgressSoft products.
  • Identify new markets, opportunities, and distribution channels with global, regional, and local firms.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales of banking and payment solutions.
  • Proven sales track record in African English-speaking countries, specifically within banking and financial services.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff at all organizational levels.
  • Strong negotiation skills with decision makers.
  • Very good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good understanding of banking and payment systems.
  • Organized, focused, ambitious, and independent.
  • Experience working with renowned banks in African English-speaking countries.
  • Experience building relationships with management and senior staff in the banking and financial services industry.
