Description

  • Develop and enhance backend services and server-side components throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain frontend components and user-facing features using the project's chosen framework.
  • Design, develop, document, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and integrations.
  • Write efficient SQL, perform database schema updates, and optimize queries and database performance.
  • Participate in all SDLC phases: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Resolve high-priority production issues, provide root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Collaborate with QA, Product, Platform, and DevOps teams to deliver features and fixes.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards and best practices.
  • Support performance optimization across backend, UI, and database layers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong Java Full Stack development experience.
  • Expertise in Java / J2EE and Spring Boot / Spring Framework with RESTful API development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Hibernate / JPA for data persistence.
  • Strong front-end experience with Angular.js and solid JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap knowledge.
  • Strong database skills including complex SQL, query tuning, and experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven/Gradle.
  • Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Java application servers (Liberty/Open Liberty/WebSphere, WildFly/JBoss).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and providing production support across UI, API, and database layers.
  • Preferred: exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito); familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket/GitLab/GitHub.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; strong communication, analytical/problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently under tight timelines.
