Description

  • Own the sales cycle from target identification and prospecting through contract close, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Work with Sales Operations to identify attractive targets and prospects for business development.
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to generate leads through targeted campaigns, customer referrals, conferences, and other channels.
  • Develop and manage a sales plan that targets high-value opportunities and meets revenue and profit goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school and district stakeholders, including special education directors, district leaders, school boards, and community leaders.
  • Support key accounts to drive new business and expansion opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of regional sales plans.
  • Expand existing business partnerships with public and non-public school entities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of related experience in education and/or sales.
  • Proven business development and sales experience in K-12 solution or service-based models.
  • Track record of managing annual multimillion-dollar sales targets in the K-12 industry.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 buying cycles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Must be highly collaborative and comfortable navigating public-private partnerships.
  • Must be a strong Customer Relationship Management (CRM) power user.
  • Experience supporting and developing relationships with public and non-public school leaders.
  • Experience working in or with business development or sales roles focused on K-12 solutions and services is preferred.
