Description

  • Define and drive the technical roadmap in alignment with business priorities for a team of 3–6 engineers.
  • Own architectural decisions and oversee implementation for maintainable, reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
  • Support the team in delivering high-impact initiatives on schedule.
  • Lead technical initiatives from business requirements through successful delivery.
  • Shape team processes and ways of working to meet team needs.
  • Mentor engineers through technical guidance, critical thinking, and decision-making support.
  • Foster a motivating environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Communicate with non-technical stakeholders and external business partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on software development experience; Python knowledge is preferred.
  • 2+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing teams, development processes, and technical decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure, preferably AWS and Databricks.
  • Ability to adapt team processes and working practices to team needs.
  • Proven experience mentoring engineers and developing their technical judgment.
  • Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders and external partners.
  • Experience translating business requirements into actionable technical requirements and leading delivery.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures (preferred).
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices in large-scale ecosystems (preferred).
