Description

  • Lead, manage, and support the growth and performance of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Drive quarterly, release, and sprint planning.
  • Contribute hands-on to backend development, primarily in Golang.
  • Design and evolve scalable distributed systems for email, WhatsApp, SMS, and social communication channels.
  • Ensure the stability and reliability of production services.
  • Review technical designs for risk, scalability, and testability.
  • Define and improve testing strategies with QA engineers.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines, engineering tooling, and development practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and other squads on cross-functional features.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience in product environments.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Golang experience.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to drive architectural decisions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
  • Strong exposure to SRE practices and production reliability.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with Java and Spring Boot is preferred.
  • Must complete a background check, including identity, education, and employment verification.
